vFairs Monthly Product Updates – December 2022

We’re rounding up the year with some great updates for you! These feature enhancements and additions are sure to be valuable additions to your upcoming events over the year, with more to come.

Updates On The Mobile App

The mobile app was constantly being updated over the past year, making it one of the most intuitive event apps around. There are more updates in the works, making 2023 an exciting prospect.

Notifications Panel

There are consistent mobile apps for users’ convenience. The app already offers push notifications, which can help recipients get reminders about the event, find out about sessions, get live event updates, and much more. Now, these notifications will appear in the form of a chronologically ordered notifications panel.

This update is automatically available for all events in the mobile app, and all you have to do is click the bell icon to access the panel.

Attendee To Attendee Meetings

Now, attendees can also book meetings with other attendees, and reserve a chat slot for this purpose. If hosts want to enable this feature, they can go to the mobile app settings in the backend and switch ON the relevant toggle.

Once enabled, users will have the option to book a meeting with attendees through the attendee list. Attendees will need to provide their available time slots in the registration form.

Updates In Webinar Setup

vFairs is known for its excellent webinar options. Therefore, this experience is built around making the whole experience more enjoyable for you.

Sequel.io Integration

There are a number of tools which are offered as integrations with vFairs. They work seamlessly within the platform, making the event hosting and participation experience all the better. Sequel.io is one such integration, and is a webinar creation and hosting tool which hosts may want to use.

There is now a new webinar type option, which will embed Sequel.io in the backend.

Updates On The Web Platform

As event organizers, you want to offer an enjoyable event experience across all platforms. Therefore, the web platform also had some excellent updates over the past year.

Live Feed

The vFairs mobile app has a Live Feed feature for events. This acts as a space for participants to share their thoughts, post images, and comment on each other’s posts. Now, the Live Feed is also available on the website.
