BHM Fall Summit will host talks from health and wellness experts and Hollywood celebrities about the African American communities’ health concerns.
Los Angeles, CA – The BHM Fall Summit & Health Fair will take place on the 1st of October 2022 at The Center at The Cathedral, 555 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles from 8:30am to 6:00pm PST. The health fair is a hybrid event that attendees can attend in-person at the venue or virtually through the vFairs platform. Interested candidates can register for free here.
As the world moves forward from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is prudent that communities as a whole understand the importance of health and wellness and learn to make it a priority. Attendees who choose to attend virtually or in-person can look forward to multiple speaker sessions from healthcare professionals, scientists, physicians, and health advocates.
The summit is happening in the Los Angeles area for the first time and will also welcome a number of inspiring celebrities who will share personal journeys with mental and physical health. Some of the highlighted celebrity speakers are:
The Summit will cover important healthcare topics for the African American community and focus on the issues that affect them the most. The topics include Alzheimer’s disease, asthma, breast cancer, FSGS kidney disease, HIV/AIDS, prostate cancer, mental health, etc. After a day full of informative sessions, the attendees can benefit from free onsite health screenings and complimentary meals.
