After a lot of planning and testing, the team at vFairs took another step this month in its master plan to fuel confidence and empower event organizers.

The Chat Slot Booking Module plays an important role in paving the way for meetings between employers and job seekers during job fairs, buyers and suppliers during trade shows, and so on, allowing for targeted conversations during the two parties’ available hours.
Previously, these were pre-determined slots set up during the planning phase. However, we saw organizers sometimes had last minute changes or needed to review their schedule beforehand. For this purpose, we developed a way for you to access the chat slots and easily add/edit bookings based on your availability. Similarly, you can see all the booked slots and edit/delete them at any point if need be.

Each organizer requires a different degree of protection, based on the needs and the complexity of the company and its customers.
vFairs now offers more flexibility in how user accounts are protected within the platform. During the registration process, you can choose the kind of complexity that you’d like to offer to your users — whether it be in the form of special characters, numbers, upper-case letters, and so on. This ensures that user data is protected from any cyber or security threats.
How have you been managing attendee data all this time? You might remember collecting data either on a separate platform like Google Forms or building an ominous Excel sheet with all the data of the booths that will be hosted on your show.
What made the process long and tedious was how these entries then had to be ported into vFairs, requiring an effort-intensive import script or at worst a manual data entry endeavor. And you’d have to set up the booths one by one, which would take forever for those who had a lot of booths.
The new interface therefore comes with a super awesome import tool. This allows you to load your Excel sheet consisting of all the attendee data or booth data based on our template CSV and get set up in minutes! Bulk imports therefore save a lot of time and energy while setting up your virtual event.
Sometimes your speakers want to submit pre-recorded videos that you want to play in a semi-live fashion. Getting these videos from the speakers would be a pain for organizers as everyone would have a different way to share it – some would use Google Drive, others Dropbox, etc. Files would be all over the place.
Well, not to worry anymore.
Rather than juggling between different platforms, each event is now assigned a custom video page specific to that event. Organizers can simply share this link with each of their speakers and allow them to upload their videos on a single platform in a standardized manner. This feature especially makes stakeholder management easier.
Earlier, the vFairs design team was primarily responsible for setting up exhibitor booths. Based on the customers’ brief and the available options, the team would choose appropriate booth templates, make submitted images/videos suitable for their respective booths, and prepare them from A-Z. The exhibitors, on the other hand, would have to wait for the final product to be constructed before sharing their feedback on it.
To fast-track this process, and let exhibitors handle the details of their own booths from the very beginning, vFairs developed a “Self-Service Booth Builder.” This allows them to upload graphics and content of their own choice, try and test various options, and enjoy complete control of their booths.
