After years of exclusively holding in person elder care symposiums, Rothkoff decided to add a virtual element to the event. This meant juggling two types of audiences and ensuring both are nurtured equally.
Going with a hybrid option meant extra responsibility. Since Rothkoff has a small team, with Laura championing many tasks herself, she needed a platform that would help minimize the workload instead of increasing it.
Rothkoff also wanted to increase exposure provided to the vendors and sponsors exhibiting at the event. Additionally, the event also aimed to provide caregivers and professionals working in the industry with more avenues to network with peers, learn about the issues occurring in the industry, and discuss possible solutions. That’s when they found vFairs—a platform promising seamless event management, irrespective of whether it was in person or hybrid.
Rothkoff decided to switch to a hybrid event format with vFairs to boost attendance from exhibitors, speakers, and attendees alike. Rothkoff’s 6th Annual Elder Care Symposium was a success, unlocking greater attendance. With over 350 total attendees and more than 120 unique booth visits, these impressive numbers highlight the boost in attendee engagement the event generated. The platform’s interactive nature, together with its prompt customer service helped deliver a more inclusive and impactful symposium for all participants.
